COMMUNITY OF CHANGE
A COMMUNITY OF CHANGE FOR CREATIVE SKILLS

Community Update Jan - March 2024

At the forefront of shaping the future of upskilling and reskilling within the CCSI, we have been actively engaged in a series of collaborative ventures across Matera, Utrecht, Brussels, and Paris, with upcoming events taking place in Lisbon and Amsterdam.

In January, SACCORD, a parallel project to CYANOTYPES, kicked off in Matera. CYANOTYPES will be collaborating on increasing data intelligence on upskilling and reskilling within the CCSI. SACCORD will explore the potential of micro-credentials and new learning pathways to support CCSI stakeholders. Powered by SACCORD, CYANOTYPES will coordinate the Creative Skills Week 2024 (learn more at www.creativeskillweek.eu).

In February, CYANOTYPES partners gathered at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht for a collaborative two-day session. The focus was on the CYANOTYPES Training Framework, currently under development. The attendees devoted their time to developing learning outcomes derived from a novel framework of agency clusters and competencies. This innovative approach is set to be introduced and tested during Creative Skills Week 2024.

In March, the team attended the first Pact for Skills Forum in Brussels. This event provided insights and updates on the Skills Agenda and on the achievements of the European Year of Skills in different industrial ecosystems. There were presentations on Individual Learning Accounts and on the use of micro-credentials and this was a good opportunity to understand skills developments in different sectors. An overview of the work of the Creative Pact for Skills, CYANOTYPES, and SACCORD projects was also presented.

CYANOTYPES also participated in the CHARTER Cultural Heritage Alliance Conference in Paris and shared insights around the digital challenge and professional skills and capacity building. There was particular interest in the transversal skills synergies with CYANOTYPES.

What’s next in the upcoming months?

CYANOTYPES has planned an internal workshop in April hosted by Lusófona University in Lisbon. In September, we invite you to Creative Skills Week 2024, where you will meet with members of the Creative Pact for Skills, Large-Scale Partnership and CYANOTYPES, who will be gathering in person for the first time in Amsterdam. Save the dates for 16 – 20 September 2024.

Interested organisations and individuals (including students) are invited to host their event, showcase skilling and micro-learning activity, project, workshop and/or research as part of the Creative Skills Week 2024 Satellite Programme. Find out more here.
