This pilot explores how CYANOTYPES competences can support young creatives at the point of transition from study to professional practice. It focuses on a three-day summer school that brings together artists, researchers, designers and creatives from all disciplines for workshops and focus sessions. Participants explore different perspectives on artistic empowerment, professional practice, research and project realisation, accompanied by expert input on self-employment, social insurance and taxes. CYANOTYPES learning plans and competences are used as a design lens for structuring the content and activities.
The summer school offers a space to reflect on future paths, connect with a wider creative community and discover new possibilities for life and work. Participant feedback confirms the high relevance of the topics and the value of this competence-based format, providing a concrete example of how CYANOTYPES can inform a short, intensive lifelong-learning offer for early-career creatives.
