A community of change for creative skills

Fashion Innovation Center’s (FIC) open pilot introduces learners to the future of the fashion industry through the lens of policy. Currently, the fashion sector is under immense pressure to adopt upcoming EU policies, such as DPP and other sustainability regulations, and many are lacking skills and knowledge on digital possibilities. The last time the industry was regulated in this extent was in 2005 when EU’s importing quotas were abolished, thus enabling current fast fashion practices. FIC is addressing the upcoming changes that the fashion industry is facing with its open pilot consisting of three mini-modules using the CYANOTYPES Framework:

  • EU Policy and Policy Tools
  • Digital Product Passport
  • Future Scenarios of Fashion Manufacturing in Europe

Pilot Lead: Fashion Innovation Center (Sweden)

Fashion Innovation Center (FIC) is an acceleration and innovation hub, merging new business, technology, and research with hands-on explorations between the industry, content providers, and academia, putting user experience in focus. Our mission is to digitalise the fashion industry by implementing strategies and business models that drive sustainable growth from day one.

FIC boost brands with meaningful purpose and add digital content through cross-sector collaborations. We solve real-world problems, leading and supporting the transformation towards a sustainable and still profitable fashion industry.
