A community of change for creative skills

This pilot focuses on its training setting for the future scenarios of the fashion industry in Europe. It aims to achieve of upskilling and reskilling of the fashion industry, fashion educators, designers and students on the future skills of manufacturing in order to have a viable fashion industry possible in Europe within the near future. Currently, the fashion sector is under immense pressure to adopt upcoming EU policies such as DPP, sustainability regulations, and many are lacking skills and knowledge on digital possibilities. Furthermore, competitiveness is also high in the European Union agenda, which further addresses the need of upskilling and reskilling.

The pilot aims to incorporate CYANOTYPES Triple Loop learning model and various core competences within the CYANOTYPES Framework through designing courses on manufacturing for the future skills targeting the needs of the fashion industry and fashion educators.

These courses would run between February to July 2026 and will utilise experts for example in the topics related to dual transition. The open pilot would also be used to collect participant feedback, which would be utilised to draft a Train the Trainer Manifesto on skills needed for the future manufacturing of the fashion sector.
