Help Shape the Future of Skills in the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries
CYANOTYPES invites stakeholders from across the cultural and creative ecosystem to participate in its new Skills Intelligence Survey.
CYANOTYPES follows a triple-loop learning process, continuously reflecting on, validating and improving the knowledge generated throughout the project. As part of this process, the survey aims to update the evidence collected during previous phases and ensure that the project’s findings continue to reflect the evolving needs of the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSI).
After four years of research, engagement and evidence gathering, CYANOTYPES would now like to validate the skills needs, challenges and opportunities already identified across the sector. The survey also seeks to understand what may still be missing from current skills intelligence, particularly in relation to upskilling, reskilling and future skills development.
The survey focuses especially on four creative subsectors (design, fashion, video games and audiovisual). However, it also explores how creative competences and Creative Agency can contribute to broader implementation and impact pathways, including education, vocational education and training, SMEs, cultural organisations, intermediaries, policymaking, human resources, health and wellbeing, AI governance, sustainability transitions, manufacturing and public services.

We welcome responses from stakeholders working across the cultural and creative ecosystem, including:
- Cultural and creative professionals, freelancers and entrepreneurs
- Companies, SMEs and sectoral organisations
- Education and vocational training providers
- Universities and research institutions
- Cultural organisations and intermediary bodies
- Professional associations, networks and social partners
- Public authorities and policymakers
- Human resources and workforce development professionals
- Organisations working in innovation, sustainability, health, technology and public services
Your answers will help CYANOTYPES validate its existing findings and identify overlooked competences, training gaps, barriers to accessing skills development, ecosystem needs and emerging priorities for future policy and practice.
