Building evidence to support vocational excellence for the digital and green transitions: The role of centres of vocational excellence in the green transition
This European Training Foundation (ETF) research paper is based on case studies of CoVEs in the US, Australia, Singapore, Morocco and Denmark. It explores how CoVEs are responding to the green transition and what key success factors are for whole-institution changes. The main findings cover the management of the transition, sustainability topics within the content and educational programmes, involvement of external stakeholders, and different pedagogical approaches. The paper provides important insights in how VET providers and VET systems can be leveraged to prepare workers for the green transition.
