Co-Creation Workshop in Stuttgart: It’s All in the Mix

In late March, we hosted a co-creation workshop in Stuttgart, bringing together a diverse group of participants. The goal was to define and shape the core components of the urgent value creation competences identified by the Creative Agency Circle. Across a series of interactive workshops, participants shared their experiences on four skills areas: Planning and Management, Valuing Ideas, Working with Others, and Opportunity Management.
Why organise a workshop like this for the Value-Creating Agency Cluster in the first place?
Because CYANOTYPES is a community, not a closed project. Engaging with external expertise is and integral part of our project. Rather than presenting a standard project overview at a conference, we invited participants to actively co-create with us. And the response? Enthusiastic and immediate.
We were genuinely impressed by the level of engagement and the quality of contributions. One factor behind this success was the transversal relevance of value creation topics—they touch everyone. Another crucial factor that strengthened collaboration was the mix of participants, who had diverse backgrounds. By intentionally reaching beyond the education sector, we welcomed a cross-section of creative professionals, intermediaries, policymakers, start-up accelerators, and students. This blend made the exchange valuable for everyone and led to a result that was able to bring together different perspectives.
The insights gathered from this workshop are now feeding directly into our Train-the-Trainer Toolkit, which will be piloted over the coming year.
