The CYANOTYPES pilot workshops in Vienna and Košice kickstarted the journey to refine future competencies and skills for the culture and creative sector. These workshops tested our framework, gathered expert feedback, and explored practical strategies for integrating cross-sectoral competencies into education, training, and development.

The CYANOTYPES pilot workshops, CYANOTYPES: Future Competencies & Skills for the Creative Sector, hosted by WIFI International in Vienna, Austria, was a great opportunity to gather valuable feedback on our competency model and training approaches. During this interactive session, key strategies were explored to integrate these competencies into continuing education within the Austrian context.

Highlights of the workshops were:

  • Constructive feedback from experienced trainers on the further development of the CYANOTYPES model
  • Capacity building for the creative sector in Austria
  • Sustainable strategies for the future of the industry

At Creative Industry Košice (CIKE), experiential learning took centre stage as participants pilot-tested the CYANOTYPES framework during the Designing Engaging Learning Experiences workshop. This three-phase workshop showcased the power of cross-sectoral skills and competencies in education, training, and development. Participants gained skills in creating and designing educational lessons while honing practical tools for content development.

At CYANOTYPES, we have developed a methodology (framework) for Creative and Educational Agencies to facilitate the use and creation of cross-sectoral competencies and skills in the fields of education, vocational training, and development.
